Services We Provide

Family Time/Visitations

During supervised visitation, a trained supervisor is present and generally does not participate in the visit. At the beginning of the visit, the supervisor will meet with the drop-off client to escort the child(ren) to the visiting parent, the visiting parent will be advised to wait in a particular location, and the drop-client will need to leave the area immediately. During visitation, the supervisor will observe and take notes, if required. Once visitation is over, the supervisor will escort the child(ren) back to the pick-up client and the visiting parent will need to leave the location immediately or wait 5-15 minutes for exchange of child(ren) to pick parent to occur first before departing location. The pick-up client will be required to sign Child-Well Being Form which is explained in the last section of this packet.

1. Supervised-The visit supervisor maintains sight and sound contact with the child and all parties to the visit at all times. This is the highest level of supervision

2. Monitored-The visit supervisor is ON SITE and within line of sight OR within hearing distance of the parent-child interaction at all times. The Service Worker will conduct fifteen (15) minute periodic checks where they are able to both see and hear the parent-child interaction. This is medium level of supervision

Child Exchange - During a child exchange, the child(ren) is exchanged from the residential parent to the visiting parent. The purpose of the exchange is so that both parties do not have contact with each other. After the child is exchanged with the supervisor, the parent is expected to leave the location immediately. The visiting parent may be asked to wait in a designated location until the supervisor has received the child(ren). Both parties are required to have a working telephone and/or cell to be contacted by Harmony Family Services staff. The supervisor will require, both parents to provide information regarding the health of the child to ensure the best care of the child is provided. The residential client will be required to sign Child-Well Being Form which is explained in the last section of this packet.

Transportation - During transportation, a trained transporter will commute the child(ren) from the residential parent to the visiting parent. This service can be utilized on its own or in combination of other services. Both parties are required to have a working telephone and/or cell to be contacted by Harmony Family Services staff. The supervisor will require, both parents to provide information regarding the health of the child to ensure the best care of the child is provided. The residential client will be required to sign Child-Well Being Form which is explained in the last section of this packet

Undocumented Services - During undocumented services, a trained supervisor and/or transporter will provide the service requested without documentation that service occurred, outside of the intake application packet and payment of service. Please be advised that undocumented services rates may include Summary/Incident report rates, in case of accident and/or injury during visitation.
